Pick a Fruit (un)wrapped is a limited edition of digital images that refer to the well-known symbols on fruit machines that were in many cafeterias and sports canteens until the turn of the century and can now only be found in casinos and gambling halls.

The Pick a Fruit (un)wrapped fruit machine always awards and pays the player in an NFT artwork.

An NFT is a Non-Fungible Token and can be seen as the proof of ownership of a digital image.

Pick a Fruit (un)wrapped is a slot machine that pays out an NFT artwork.

After winning, a Wallet is created and an NFT is minted instantly and appears on Open Sea. The QR-code for the Wallet comes out of the machine on a receipt.

Unwrap for a physical artwork

The collected NFT gives the owner the ability to purchase a physical work with the same image.

This will unwrap the NFT and link it to the physical artwork. A wrapped NFT can only be unwrapped once.

Wrapping and Unwrapping are well-known techniques for trading Crypto currencies.

With an NFT these terms are not used, but for Pick a Fruit (un)wrapped it is a way to limit the print run of the physical work. Both an NFT Wrapped and an NFT Unwrapped can be traded on the NFT platform Open Sea.

When playing Pick a Fruit (un)wrapped the player always wins an NFT artwork but if you want to get a rarer or specific image you have to take a gamble.
