Just before he says yes, a groom-to-be confesses that he has also kissed the bride's sister… and her sisters… and friends. An old man visits his wife every day, who has lost her memory. Two heart friends get into a fight after one confesses that he used to find the other unpleasant. A neighbour and neighbour try to restrain their love for each other, while their husbands jump each other noisily in the hallway. And sixteen other love situations ...

In a swirling and slightly absurdist sequence of twenty short and longer scenes, the French writer Joël Pommerat (Ca Ira (1) Fin de Louis, Holland Festival 2016) takes us along the very human lusts and burdens of love: early love, extinguished love, forbidden love, thrilling love, love between friends, never forgotten love. Nine actors - directed by Eric de Vroedt - play 51 roles in a performance that sparkles like a glass of champagne.
