Retired Lex has left for Indonesia in search of true love. After two months, his son Ramses learns that Lex has been admitted to a hospital in Surabaya. Ramses cancels the opening of his exhibition and flies headlong to the other side of the world. His mother Winnie is flying along; her ex-husband's insurance pays. She will see her native country again after sixty years. Once they arrive, they don't find Lex in a hospital bed, but dancing, singing and drinking in the bar of his hotel. They soon meet Tary, Lex's girlfriend forty years younger. She and her family are about to move into a big house that Lex has built for them.
