During the five-day Open Ateliers of the Rijksakademie voor Beeldende Kunsten, five enormous touring cars are set up between the gate and the facade. The coaches obscure the entire ground floor. Thousands of visitors from the Netherlands and abroad come during the Open Ateliers. This large influx is normally not clearly visible. Visitors does not only want to make the visitors, but also other passers-by aware of the fact that the Open Ateliers is a happening that attracts many people.
