The Artwalk Amsterdam has chosen ‘View’ (also ‘prospect’ in Dutch) for a theme. The main starting points for the works to be exhibited are the stories of inhabitants about the inner gardens in the Staatslieden neighbourhood in Amsterdam.
To encourage people in the neighbourhood to undertake something with the garden, the window on Van der Hoopstraat 39 shows a well-organized complete collection of gardening tools.
At De Blauwe Tuin people living nearby may lend the tools to work in the garden behind the Van Der Hoopstraat.
De Blauwe Tuin takes up the well-known initiative of De Blauwe Duim on Van der Hoopstraat 49, that lends out equipments and carrier cycles.
